Description
A juvenile Spotted Sandpiper hunting for insects in a slough near my hometown in Minnesota. They are usually very hard to get close to but this was young and inexperienced. It may also have helped that I was in a slough that can only be accessed by kayak by paddling a narrow channel through the cattails from a culvert.
I have uploaded two images of this Spotted Sandpiper. Both appear on the coffee mug. If you are purchasing a duvet cover I recommend a pillow or two of one or both images.
